James Donegan received his education in Communication, Marketing and Art Direction from Trinity University (San Antonio) and The Portfolio Center (Atlanta).
While in graduate school, James did his first professional theater and decided to move to New York and see where it led. In the meantime, he put his design skills to use and, as a result, never had to wait tables or work retail (not that there’s anything wrong with that).
Now, almost ten years later, James Did It! has become a thriving design business, specializing in all kinds of graphic design work — from logos and letterhead to rich, dynamic websites. Says James:
My experience in theater is the perfect fit for owning a business. Every project is like mounting a show: once I have a clear understanding of what the client needs and have designed something they love, I can “cast” the perfect team for their job, from printers to hardcore internet programmers.
